How do I refer?

The first step is for you to formulate a Mental Health Care Treatment Plan for your patient.  You are eligible to bill Medicare to complete this plan (MBS Item Numbers: 2715 & 2710).

A written referral , along with the mental health care plan, is required  by Medicare.  Your patient, can then contact our practice or, alternatively the referral can be emailed or faxed directly to our practice, and we will contact your patient to make an appointment time with them.

If you are a psychiatrist a referral only is required by Medicare.
